Join us for a visit of the Garry W. Morden Centre, Mississauga Fire’s state-of-the-art teaching and training facility. Open to members and spouses.* (Members only - spouses will be put on a wait list and added if space is available after registration closes. )

Once fully booked, a wait list will be opened up.



The Garry W. Morden Centre, named after Mississauga’s former Fire Chief, is Mississauga Fire’s state-of-the-art teaching and training facility.  The 60,000 square foot facility is located on a 37 acre parcel of land.

We will take a guided tour of both the facility and the outdoor fireground to observe Mississauga Fire trainees at work.  There will also be a public education information session.

Please note that participants must be able to walk at least 1 kilometre outdoors.

(southwest of Hwy 401 and Winston Churchill Blvd)

 

Itinerary:   

Arrival at the Site: 9:45 a.m.

Tour: 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Lunch:                        12:00 noon

 

Cost:    

There is NO COST for the Tour.

*Members will have registration priority. While spouses can be registered, they will be placed on a waitlist. If there are still spots available once registration has been closed, spouses will be added in the order they were registered.

Self-pay lunch at the Lionheart British Pub & Restaurant
