Activities for Everyone
As a member of the PROBUS Club of Mississauga South you can enjoy a wide variety of activities that will stimulate both mind and body and give you the opportunity to meet new friends with similar interests. Prospective members who are on the wait list are also welcome to partake. Where noted, spouses and associate members are also welcome.
Book Club
The group meet monthly to discuss the book(s) of the month. Members take turns selecting books and hosting the meeting.
Biking
On paved and unpaved roads and pathways in the GTA, followed by coffee at a local cafe. Seasonal (Weekly - Spring thru Fall)

Bird Watching
Watching and discussing local birds in various GTA parks. The schedule of the outings is influenced by birds’ migration patterns.

Bowling
Growing in popularity! Members play 3 games of 10 pin followed by a Pizza and Beer lunch weekly. All skill levels welcome.

Popular activity enjoyed by members of all skill levels. 18 holes weekly at Deerfield Golf Club in Oakville.

A weekly 8-Ball round robin followed by Lunch and beer. (Optional, but highly recommended) All skill levels welcome! Weekly at the Crooked Cue, Port Credit.

A weekly, leisurely one-hour walk, followed by coffee at a local cafe.
Monthly Meeting
Club members meet monthly at the Mississauga Golf and Country Club to socialize over coffee, listen to interesting guest speakers and welcome new members.
Beer Appreciation
Sample, analyze and compare beers.
Members take turns hosting and offer up different brews from around the world.

Wine Appreciation
Sample and compare a variety of wines selected by a different host each month.
Computer Skills
To enhance their knowledge, members engage with an expert to improve their software and hardware skills. (Monthly)
Current Affairs
A monthly get together to discuss current issues on subjects notified in advance. Members take turns selecting the topic, hosting the meeting and leading the discussion.
Dinner Club
Members, spouses and associates get together monthly in groups of 6 to 8, enjoy the food and conversation at selected local restaurants.
Investment Club
The group meets monthly to discuss economic trends and investments. Members have the option of competing in the performance of their fictional portfolios.
Duplicate Bridge
Two groups meet monthly to play duplicate bridge. Members take turns hosting.

Experience the joy of picture taking through a variety of field trips and instructor led Zoom monthly meetings. All experience levels welcome.
Scotch Tasting
Join PRISMS (Probus Responsible Investigators of Single Malt Scotch) Sample and enjoy single malt scotch whiskies. Members meet monthly.
Pub Lunch
Enjoy the food, drink and the company of other members at the Royal Windsor Pub and Eatery.

Challenge other members for a game on Chess.com. All experience levels welcome.
Auto Tour
Each September, join other members on back roads to a local attraction, followed by lunch. Spouses and associate members are welcome.
Telephone Roster
Help club members keep up to date by passing along activity reminders and club information. Great way to maintain contact with members.
Prostate Cancer Support
This group provides support to help guide those members suffering from Prostate Cancer through all phases of their diagnosis and treatment.
Special Events
Probus members and their spouses enjoy a wide variety of local tours and special dinners throughout the year.
International Travel
Join other members, Spouses and associate members and see the world via top drawer (generally all- inclusive) 1 to 2 week excursions to many interesting and exotic foreign destinations
