Application For Membership

Membership: The PROBUS Club of Mississauga South is exclusively a men’s club and application is open to professionals who are fully or partially retired. The club is solely operated by its members and all are encouraged to participate in the running of the club by sharing their expertise whenever an appropriate opportunity arises.

Activities: Meetings are on the third Thursday of each month at the Mississauga Golf and Country Club from 9.30 am to 12 noon to provide fellowship and to hear a guest speaker. Between meetings, special events, outings and travel are arranged to which spouses of members may be invited. Numerous activities are available for special interests. Please check all the activities you may be interested in joining in the section below.

In the absence of a Sponsor, the applicant will meet the Membership Director and a Management Committee member to review the application and answer enquiries regarding our Club.

Once approved, the new applicant will be permitted to participate in all club activities and join in events if space is available prior to their formal induction.

Initiation fee and annual dues: Once approved, the new member will be advised of the fees that are owed and will be permitted to participate in all club activities and join in events if space is available. The annual fee is currently $75 but may vary depending on where we are in the fiscal calendar. An additional, one time fee of $45 will also be assessed to cover a name badge and application processing as specified in By - law #4.2 - Annual Dues.
